Please join us for a 4 hour, NBCC approved continuing education seminar on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). The session acquaints attendees with the basic approach, theory, and techniques of EFT.

Presenter: Ryan is a practicing EFT therapist and supervisor. He has a master’s and doctorate in MFT. After serving as teaching faculty in Counseling/MFT for nine years, he founded The Joshua Center of NWA at the end of 2010. He also founded the Arkansas EFT community, AREFT, four years ago – which has trained approximately 150 therapists in Arkansas. Ryan has practiced EFT since 2006 and was certified as an EFT therapist with ICEEFT (International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy) 4 years ago. He became an EFT Supervisor 3 years ago (and is currently in line to enter ICEEFT’s program to become an EFT Trainer). Ryan has approximately 25,000 clinical hours and has worked in multiple counseling settings including Medicaid agencies with adults and children, substance abuse agencies, and multiple private practice settings. His primary clinical focus areas now include: couples, sexuality (multiple forms), trauma, depression/anxiety, and faith/spirituality. Ryan is married to Anne, also a therapist, and has three children.
