This year’s Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) training is once again led by Anthony Mannarino, PhD, co-developer of TF-CBT. Dr. Mannarino developed TF-CBT almost 20 years ago to help children who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event, such as sexual or physical abuse, a tornado or fire, a motor vehicle accident, violence at home or in the community, or some other type of stressful incident.

Arkansas Building Effective Services for Trauma (ARBEST), in collaboration with Centers for Youth and Families, will host the sixth annual Introductory TF-CBT training on April 8-9, 2015 on the UAMS campus in Little Rock, AR. The fifth annual Advanced TF-CBT training will be held on April 10, 2015 will also be located on the UAMS campus in Little Rock, AR

Sixth Annual Introductory Training on TF-CBT

Date: April 8-9, 2015 – 8am to 4pm both days
Location:The 12th floor of the Stephens Spine Institute; University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Campus, Little Rock, AR
Available CEUs: 12
Description: This training is offered at no charge to licensed mental health professionals throughout the state of Arkansas. Space is limited; reservations are required. To be eligible, mental health professionals must first complete the on-line training for TF-CBT; 10 continuing education credits are awarded at completion. Please email or fax (501.526.8199) your completed certificate to us.

To complete your registration:
1) You must have an ARBEST account. Log into our website or create an ARBEST account
*After you register, you will receive an email confirming your password.

2) After you log into ARBEST, select Introductory Training on TF-CBT.
*You will receive an email notification reminding you that your registration status is pending.

3) Complete the on-line training for TF-CBT. Remember to email or fax your certificate to us.
*You will receive an email notification confirming your attendance for the training.

Fifth Annual AdvancedTraining on TF-CBT

Date: April 10, 2015 – 8am to 4pm
Location: The 12th floor of the Stephens Spine Institute; University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Campus, Little Rock, AR
Available CEUs: 6
Description: This free advanced training on TF-CBT is offered to mental health professionals throughout the state of Arkansas. To be eligible, you must have previously attended the Introductory TF-CBT training, be in the process of completing or have completed 12 consultation calls.
To complete your registration:
1) Please log into your ARBEST account.

2) After you log into ARBEST, select Advanced Training on TF-CBT.
*Your registration for the training will be complete when we confirm that you have previously attended the introductory training and completed 12 consultation calls.
