Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee (PDC) is responsible for planning and coordinating Continuing Education (CE) and professional development opportunities for ArPA members and, ideally, the broader psychology community in Arkansas. We strive to provide professional development opportunities for psychologists who serve as clinicians, academicians, researchers, supervisors, consultants, and entrepreneurs. The PDC is also committed to providing development opportunities for students who are pursuing careers in psychology. At our events, we often provide platforms for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research and network with psychologists. The PDC has historically hosted a one-day Spring and two-day Fall conference each year. Going forward, the PDC endeavors to have both in-person and virtual conferences, workshops, panels, and webinars. The PDC wants to connect, either in-person or virtually, with psychologists and psychology students across the state. We look forward to continuing to serve ArPA members through professional development and CE opportunities!
